Yes. Received same one today. Did a Reverse lookup and find it is a scam. Deleted!
This number sent me a message claiming to be from the Social Research Centre on behalf of NSW Health, stating that they would call soon regarding participation in an important health study. The message asks recipients to reply '1' if they live in NSW, '2' if they do not, or 'STOP' to opt out of communication. I'm uncertain whether this is a legitimate message or a potential scam.
Today, I received a message stating, “This message is from the Social Research Centre on behalf of NSW Health, part of the NSW Government. In the next few days, we will call to see if you can participate in an important health study. Reply '1' if you live in NSW, '2' if you do not live in NSW, or 'STOP' to opt out.” I found this concerning, so I blocked the number.
I received the same message today and decided to delete it without responding.
A message claiming to be from the Social Research Centre for NSW Health prompted the receiver to click either 1 or 2, or to reply with "STOP". It seems suspicious as I wasn’t expecting any communication from them.
