The caller is pretending to represent Vodafone, but I believe this to be a scam attempt.
This number seems to be impersonating Vodafone and trying to scam people. Do not provide any personal information!
Called me pretending to be from Vodafone and offering 45% discount. I knew he was faking from the moment he said his name and tried using a different accent. I laughed and asked if he wanted my bank details and he sounded a little flustered, telling me he will be sending me a text from Vodafone AU official number with a link. However, it was a scam as Vodafone officially sends text from AUVodafone whereas he sent from Vodafone AU. He asked for my 4digit pin and I denied and told him I am not interested, he went silent and disconnected the calls while muttering something to himself. Be careful and don't get trapped into scams. No providers will call and offer 45% discount on your service.
Scam pretended to be from vodafone, asking for pin number to offer 50% discount. When I suspected scam asking him to send an email with the offer he swore. I called vodafone to report and they wanted me to fill out forms and waste more time and wouldn't follow up the number.
