I received a text message saying I had mistakenly paid the wrong AGL account, and if I pressed 1, they could 'fix' it for me. This is definitely a scam!
Since I live off the grid, I don't think this call was genuine or intended for me.
I also got a message from this number claiming to be from AGL. It stated that I had one account in debit and one in credit and asked if I wanted to transfer funds by pressing 1. Usually, AGL provides updates via a non-private number. I believe this may be a scam because legitimate companies should be able to document their communications.
The text message stated that money had been deposited into the wrong account, which I found laughable because it's completely false. This is definitely a scam!
