I have also been receiving these. Doing a Google search on the phone number seems to reveal it is someone named Denise Grozier, who used to (or maybe still does) work for Burleigh Miami Realty in Queensland. Her twitter feed ([link] also matches the sort of text messages I've received (political requests).
Another one being spammed by David Chen, I would never vote for some wanker who thinks that this is acceptable.

Another phone owned by NSW state election candidate, David Chen. Third number he has spammed me from asking me to vote for him. Every time he gets blocked, he just changes his number. Do not vote for this pig! He has also spammed the emergency SMS system. Deserves to be prosecuted!
