What Our Users Reviewed
Some lady called from Telstra claiming im having problems with my intertnet. I knew straight away it was a scam. They try to get your details and try scaring you that your info has been compromised and hackers can see everything. This female scamer called me about 3 weeks ago and told me the scamers have taken $5000 out of my account and she told me the only way to stop these scammers was to go and buy some gift cards (so spend more money) and then to call these scammers back and give them the codes and numbers from back of all 10 cards. I told them to go to hell as I was not doing that. So be careful don't give them your time. Hang up on them. Them call the company they claim they are calling from.
It was a very loud call centre in the background and it was a lady stating she was with Telstra and that my IP address has been flagged showing it has gone from Private to Public and this was not safe for me.
She asked if I had made any changes to my internet settings recently.
I told her I am not with Telstra and hung up.
Blimey, got another dodgy sales call pushing rubbish, what a pain in the neck!
