Pre recorded scammer call. They got as far as the robotic “hello, your phone number” and I hung up.
The caller attempted to promote products, but they had a questionable tone that made it sound like a scam to me.

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. As I work in TV News I figured it could have been a story lead. It was from a man allegedly called Mohammed to talk about my "recent eBay purchase". I told him I hadn't purchased anything from eBay. He then asked if anyone else in my family had recently purchased from eBay as someone using "my account" had purchased a $250 eBay giftcard. (I don't have an eBay account!) I just laughed and told him "mate, we deal with scammers like you all the time, I'm not falling for that." and hung up.
