This caller claimed to be from Ausdebt and was attempting to collect a debt supposedly owed by me to Optus. However, I do not have an Optus account associated with the phone number they provided. It seems they might be taking advantage of the Optus hack to target random individuals, trying to see who might be tricked into paying up. Their communication skills were quite convincing.
