I answered a call from a woman who sounded very convincing, possibly even robotic. She tried to persuade me to donate money. I eventually had to swear at her and hang up to make her stop; her tactics were incredibly annoying.
I received an unsolicited phone call from a woman who spoke very quietly. She asked me for money, which I found very alarming and suspicious. What a strange and inappropriate approach!
After a lengthy and well-prepared speech, the caller requested donations, which seemed to be their main purpose for the call.
Missed the call, so rang back and it went straight to a voice- said it was a charity group from apple and the press a number to confirm. I hung up and blocked.
My phone alerted me that the call was suspected to be a scam, so I chose not to answer it.
I received a voicemail from a British male voice stating, "This is a message from ABC Widgets on 012 345 67890." I found it suspicious, hung up, and subsequently blocked the number.
I did not answer the call, and no message was left. When I called back, I heard a recorded message claiming to be from Apple Marketing Group. If the call was important, they would have left a message!
I also received a second call from this number. I did not answer it and have decided to block the number to prevent future calls.
