Get youself an umpires whistle and keep it near the phone. As soon as you hear the indian accent let them have it.
Have been pestered by callers on multiple different numbers inluding this one pretending to be a non existent solar panel company. It is a scam. They cannot provide an Australian address nor ABN. They are just after personal details like DOB and a valid Credit card to make a booking for a home visit. As soon as I told them I was on the do not call register and was going to report them as a scam he laughed and said good luck. They then proceeded to call multiple times in the space of 4 hours and then hang up. Telstra needs to do something regarding these scam callers as as soon as we block them Telstra sells them a new number to use. Telstra is just a parasite who is happy to make money supporting these scammers.

I am on the do not call register. I have had a number of calls regarding solar panels. They say they are from The Australian Sustainable Company. All callers have Indian accents. They say they are not selling anything but in the end ask if you would like to get a quote from solar panels. Then another company (sometimes call themselves Green Energy)rings to make an appointment.
I asked the The Australian Sustainable Company caller where they were calling from and he said form Melbourne CBD. I asked him to give me their telephone number and he gave me 03 85926407.
I rang them a number of times but they just hung up on me. As another commenter says, I suspect this number is linked to a call centre in India.
I have complained a number of times to the Do Not Call Register but they do nothing. I guess because they are in India. DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM ANY COMPANY that breaches the do not call regulations. That for a start tells you they are not honest.

This number called me, looks like a North Balwyn number from the code but it's India. Spam.
Telstra landline rings just once, then stops. This has happened irregularly about twice a day for a while now. Telstra 101 message bank repeats number to return call that's how we got number.
This number used to phone once a day, sometimes showing the number, other times coming up as private, when I pick up no one is there. Telemarketer phoned constantly until I finally told them I would report them as I am on the Do Not call list. Now the same number phones at least twice a day. Who do I report them to?

Unadulterated SPAM... If this is passing through Optus then.... Fix it. Simples !
85926407 keeps calling my home number.... When I call Optus to report it they say there is nothing they can do because they are calling from India and they are using a program which lets them bypass there system.... Has this become the biggest joke in the world, scam artists and terrorists can hack our phone system and the telco's cant stop them. Time for the government to step in and do something.
Number keeps ringing my home address, no answer on other end and then hangs up, tried to ring the number back but the number just rings out.
