Research survey on behalf of commonwealth ombudsman. Couldn’t say anything about what it was concerning or give any other info.
Could say emphatically that no member of the public ever speaks directly is to an ombudsman, with I found most odd, as in my experience this is not true. Anyway - they managed to confirm that when they say “the commonwealth ombudsman” they are referring to the office of and and all / any staff you speak to.
They were a bit rubbish. Couldn’t clarify genuine, logical and highly reasonable questions - and ended the call because I wasn’t giving the answers they wanted to hear.
Seemed to say more about not knowing anything about Serco than would be usual for anyone but a Serco connected representative who didn’t want to talk about Serco. That they are Serco, Serco run their contract? Serco use the data?…..
I smelled Serco all over this dirty number.

A caller claimed to be contacting me on behalf of the Commonwealth Ombudsman but did not provide satisfactory answers to my questions regarding a survey. I have yet to receive any verification from the Commonwealth Ombudsman about this claim.
The caller pretended to be from the local council and asked for my address. This behavior is concerning and should be prohibited.
I am thoroughly annoyed by the constant intrusion from these callers. I have documented every number that has called me—over 150 calls from different numbers, including some from New Zealand. I plan to take action against this group for their relentless harassment.
