I missed a call from this number. They showed up as being from Melbourne, but who knows? I've biffed it to my blocked list like the others have done. Might be a scammer trying to scam info. Remember, if you take the call, don’t give out any personal info!

Got a call from this number during the witching hour on a Friday – 7 PM! No message left, and honestly, it screamed SCAM all over it!

I usually avoid answering calls from unknown numbers, particularly landline ones. This number rang briefly without leaving a voicemail. Given the frequency of similar reports, it is likely a spam or scam call.

Now, I always wait for a message from any callers. If the person knows me, they will leave a message. If not, like this one, they will be blocked.

I received a call from someone asking if I was interested in a heat pump hot water system. I informed him that telemarketing was banned in Victoria due to energy upgrades starting May 1st, 2024, which prohibits cold calling. He claimed he wasn’t aware of this regulation. I hope he has been informed now.

This is a scam call! When you answer, they simply hang up. If you attempt to call back, you will be greeted by individuals with Indian accents trying unsuccessfully to sound Australian.

I received a call from a woman with an Australian accent who initially sounded genuine. However, the conversation became suspicious when she mentioned a free 15-minute hearing test under an Australian government scheme. I believe she was fishing for personal information. Be careful, as it seems scammers are adapting their strategies—this might even be connected to the recent Optus hack.

I have received five calls from this number in one day, yet they left no messages. I feel very anxious about who is calling me; I wonder if they are hackers, scammers, or pose some other kind of threat.

Received a few calls today from this number. Long delay on pickup so I hung up.

Two or three calls a day from this number. Never leave messages. When I answer they give names like Jack or Steve when it is fairly obvious that is a lie. Call center background noise. Say they are calling from the Victorian Govt Energy Scheme about free shower heads. When I ask for the name of the company they represent or the name of the company installing the shower head I am told that the Victorian Govt is the installer. They refuse to give company details. Have asked repeatedly to be removed from their call list and each time I am assured they will do so. Scammers.

Still scamming... Continuous, repetitive and obvious, one of the less intelligent of a really dumb lot. LOL. Seems as though my shower head has gone astray again. I am mortified.
