This number just called and it was an automated message from the “Department of Home Affairs” and something about an outstanding warrant for tax fraud and you had to press 1 to speak to an operator. I pressed 1 and spoke to a female who didn’t disclose her name and there was lots of background noise. I explained I had a call from this number and she asked me for my name so she could pull up my file. I did not give her my name instead I asked which department she is calling from and she said “criminal investigation something” and then I asked how she can prove that it is legitimate and then she hung up on me. Definitely seemed like a scam to me and fortunately I did not disclose any personal info.
