Remember, you already must have given all such personal details in order to claim or purchase any parcel which was to have been delivered to you anyway. The 'delivery' phase could not even be contemplated or 'executed' if you had not already provided correct details at the beginning.That's how things work.
My wife answered a call 10min ago (3.45pm on 14/06/17) - a man with clear spoken English and Indian accent informed her there is a package awaiting delivery to her, and he requires some confirming details from her before delivery can be completed. She informed him thats not how it works - but rather that our packages are just delivered to us & some have to be signed for, while others may be left on our doorstep. She then put the phone down without further ado. NEVER give your personal details away EVER without thinking very carefully.
This number is a scam and told me I had won a free laptop and tablet but needed my carf details I gave them my old card details and they had tried to take money from it when I organised to pay next month. This scam is from a company called acer global but when googled there is no such company.
Was told I had won a free laptop and that I needed to supply them with a delivery address. Said no thanks and hung up.
