I got a call from this number (02 8530 5204) around 2 PM on June 27, 2025. Didn’t pick up since it clearly wasn’t anyone I knew. Blocked it ASAP! It’s a definite scam or spam, no doubt!
I had a call from that number at 11.20 this morning. A male with a thick, barely intelligible accent claimed to be from Telstra, and wanted to check my IP address. I let him rave on for a minute or so and said that I wasn't interested and hung up.
He got no information.
Called me around 8.15 am and 8.30 am in the morning. I declined the call. When I attempted to call back some minutes later the calls would not connect. Received another spam call from a 02 8880 0142 number shortly after.
