Caller with heavy accent claiming to be from Telstra advised me there were issues with my internet. As I don’t use Telstra, I hung up. Before I could block the number, he called back and was rather aggressive and said he needed me to tell him my IP address on my phone as he believed there was an issue. Told him no as I don’t use Telstra. Hung up on him again and this time was able to block the number.
Either indian or African caller.
Claimed I had issues with my Telstra internet and wanted to confirm my email address and my IP address.
Caller said they would help me and needed me to put my phone on speaker so that I could read out the details.
Told the caller I didn’t use Telstra so there was no need.
Caller told me my IP address had been flagged at their end.
Told him he was full of sh! T and hung up on him.
