What Our Users Reviewed
Ive had two messages saying "a new device has been successfully registered on 06/12. If this was not you please call our automated line to secure your funds on 61257610044" coming through on the text number used by UBank. I tried to ask UBank if this was a scam and report it to them 6/12/22 and they didn't care and were utterly useless about it. Im pretty sure this is a scam. All legit messages Ive gotten from UBank say to call their main line as well which is a 13 number. Do not call this number back, instead contact UBank directly from contact details on their website and confirm your funds that way if you are concerned.
Scam SMS received at 14:19 on 7 Dec 2022 (AEST): "A new device has been successfully registered on 06/12. If this was NOT you, please call our automated line to secure your funds on +61257610044".
Reported to UBank to make sure everything was ok.
DO NOT RESPOND! They are scammers sending out a text pretending to be "UBank: A new Pay ID has successfully been added ending 7413. If this was NOT you please verify yourself using our automated secure line on +61257610044." It is a total nonsense. It would be in your favour actually, if somebody added your number to an account. Pay ID cannot be direct debited.
