Now calling to offer invenstment deals.
Couldn't offer a business website, or any details about their business, or even how they got my number.
Same.
Thing happened to me, this guy rang stating I was in an accident. I told him I've never been in an accident and he had the wrong person. He then said well it must be someone in your family, sorry only me here so I'd doubt it !
So frustrating !!!!!
On Thursday 20/04/17 a lady called me from 02 4039 8001 and called me by my first name and said about something which never happened about accident which I never had and never happened and and then hang up. I called back but no answer.
Anyone who knows if this caller was from law firm?
It was absolutely unethical and not good at all.
I had a number of missed calls from this number. I answered today and the person called me by my first name and then the call went dead. Called it back and the calls cannot connect to this number. This all appears dodgey and I have now blocked the number. Pity the Telco that allocated the number cannot pull the plug on these bastards.
Got a call enquiring about my recent road accident and when I told them I hadn't been in one lady sounded flustered and said oh must have been the wrong number and hung up.
Yep, I just got the same call - I asked her to tell me where it happenned but she didn't have the address, I then asked where as she obviously knew more than I did. The thing is, if they get someone who actually has had a crash in the past telve months then they may get something out of them!
Also asked me about my car accident - when I give them any info they hung up. SCAM!!!
Scam.
I just had a call from 02 4039 8001 saying they were from roadside assist and I was eligible for compensation for my recent accident. When I asked her how she knew I had had an accident she answered by asking me more questions. I hung up. This person is an unethical scammer. Seriously, get a real job!

This is bullshit, it's harassment.. Is this even legal?? Today is my sons birthday as if I want 8 f'n phone calls from some scab curry piece of shit on this day while trying to have a nice time with my son! Now I'm in a rotten mood and ready to rip shreds off the next person who dares ring my number!
So this call definitely relates to someone selling car insurance, etc.
I didn't like the intro of the call because the caller specifically stated my name first.. So I was thinking it's gotta be someone who knew me or got my info from someone.
And the next line he said was "you are involved with a car accident...etc" Now if you're at work and not listening to this rather carefully, you would have thought someone you knew had an accident. So I asked him again.. Who is he calling? He stated my name. Why are you calling.. And there he said "your name is in the database involved in road accidents..." So I cut him short and said "I DON'T HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE. I NEVER DROVE" And he repeated in the most unbelievable tone "You never drove??" So I said "OK THIS IS A PRIVATE PHONE. DON'T KNOW HOW YOU GOT MY NUMBER. I WANT THE NAME OF YOUR COMPANY. YOUR COMPLETE NAME. YOUR EMPLOYEE NO. And right there and then he hung up.
Seriously...there are other ways to sell your product. Get it in ad where you don't pester people, who, most likely will curse your company. Try facebook.
2 cells on my number today then they just tried my husbands phone and asked for me !!!
Scam !
Got a call to say someone had been involved in a minor traffic accident. I tried to call back to find out who was in accident no answer or ring tone. I spent the rest of the day worrying & checking to see if my kids were all ok. Not impressed!

A call was made to my mobile from this number today at 2:17pm. I usually let unknown callers go to voicemail, but accidentally picked up the call without realising, the call was still going at 20secs when I did realise and then I hung up. I looked up the number on this site and saw previous comments. I have since called back a few times, cannot get through, just a hung up tone.
Just got a "funny call" She had an accent but was able to understand her telling me that she was ringing from the Accident Inquiry regarding the accident I had in the past twelve months - completely denied that I had been involved in any accident. Asked where she was calling from "Accident Inquiry Care" - Another one of those scams - now has been put into my phone as "Reject Calls".
Got a call about an accident last year. Started asking them for info about the accident since they should clearly have it and they hung up. SCAM!
Just got a call saying that I was owed money for compensation?
I also was just contacted saying I was involved in accident and funds were available to me.
I was supposedly involved in a motor vehicle accident in the last 12 months NOT! A guy by the name of Dean was allegedly calling from the transport authority and got quite aggressive when I said I was in no accidents in the last 10 years. Scammer Alert!
